It’s been a week since I’ve been on my shake diet. I haven’t lost any weight. I haven’t measured anything and I haven’t been to the gym. And today I’m hungry. Now before we go blaming the shake diet for these results I have to be perfectly honest, I haven’t followed it well.
I got all my stuff on Monday last week. All the measurements from last week I actually took on Monday in preparation. Tuesday morning I started. I need to watch what I put into my shake, especially the peanut butter and half banana. I feel it was going well, however Wednesday night I ate dinner late and then Thursday was Thanksgiving. We went geocaching Thanksgiving day so I did get SOME exercise! Afterwards there was the usual Thanksgiving dinner of turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, stuff, green bean casserole, biscuits, deviled eggs and pumpkin pie for dessert.
There was white wine and rice crispy squares. A lot of both.

More wine & rice crispy squares. The next morning, there was bacon, coffee & pastry. I got a shake in as I left and hit IKEA.
Sunday my brother and I went to a hypnosis for weight-loss class. I’ve been hypnotized for this before. I didn’t think I was “completely” hypnotized and after this class I know I really was. The last time I did this a few months after the fact I noticed that I stopped eating steak and I stopped ordering soda when I ate out at a restaurant. No, the drive-thru didn’t count. Let’s see what this time around brings. One of things he went through was making food disappear… at least temporarily. Mine was brownies and rice crispy squares! Well let’s see if this works this time.
